We achieved a 13% improvement in our annual packaging usage rate by reducing the plastic materials we use within the scope of the zero waste project, and as the Bimed family, we do our best to reduce the effects of the production sector on the climate by reducing our carbon footprint at every level within the company.
We're implementing zero-waste projects as we transition to our new facility and successfully reducing our packaging usage. For instance, we've redesigned the packaging for our inhaler devices to significantly reduce plastic consumption.
We also adopt an eco-friendly approach in production, where our products can now be crushed and recycled into raw materials. Additionally, we aim to minimize tree felling by reclaiming the pallets we use during deliveries.
We take responsibility for e-waste management, collaborating with GCL to collect and dispose of e-waste properly. All proceeds from e-waste recycling are donated to the Turkey Autism Support and Education Foundation (TODEV).
With these efforts, we contribute to both the environment and society.
